Jerry Dempsey was born and raised in Rome Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia in 1986 with a BBA in Finance.  He grew up working in family businesses, first with Dempsey Bros Dairies, Inc and immediately out of college at Rome Truck Parts & Repair, Inc.  Jerry has been selling life, health and P&C insurance in the Rome area for many years.  He got his securities registration in 1994 and was with Charles Schwab Institutional from 1994 to 1996.  In 1996 he became affiliated with Raymond James Financial Services and stayed with them until 2007 when he, Ernest Smith and John Lord formed Dempsey Lord Smith, LLC.  Jerry currently holds Series 2, 4, 7, 24, 28, 53, 63 and 65 in addition to his insurance licenses.  He serves as CEO, Options Principal and Financial Operations Principal with Dempsey Lord Smith, LLC.  His email is jerry.dempsey@dempseyi.com
